£50,000 of extra funding for community projects

Crowdfunder is making great things happen in communities across England and Wales. Just Act, the trusted online community that helps people who want to make a difference in their local area, has now become part of the Crowdfunder family. Like us it believes in communities working together and provides all the tools and know-how to bring ideas to life.

Because we've taken over the day-to-day running of the website we've created the Just Act Community Fund, distributing £50,000 to community projects across England and Wales.

We'll be adding up to 50% of the funding target to a maximum of £1,000 to volunteer-led community projects that will change lives for the better.

We anticipate high demand and the funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis - so apply now.

There’s never been a better time to crowdfund. What is Just Act?

Just Act is a hub of practical advice for anyone wanting to make a difference and improve their community.

This could include anything from running a street party to re-planning a core community service. On offer is advice and information from a variety of organisations and people who are involved in community projects, and believe in the importance of local people coming together and improving their community.

They also know all too well some of the challenges which can crop up along the way.

Every community project is unique, but the stumbling blocks are often the same. That's where Just Act comes in, the latest addition to the Crowdfunder family.

Your project must:
