Welcome to Community Help & Information Network Sandwell (CHAINS)

Test

This website is a free resource to promote Sandwell's community sector and to provide help for community groups.

However, we also have loads of toolkits or advice sheets - free for anyone to use. Visit the SUPPORT section to find out more.

We also provide free software - Apply Yourself and Budget Yourself - to help with planning your next funding application.

If you live in Sandwell and want to find a group to join, or are looking to keep up with the latest local community news - this is the website for you too!

All of the resources for community groups here are FREE - including our latest  Capacity Building Strategy for community groups -

Although we have restricted the calendar facility on the site to just local groups to ensure our site primarily benefits Sandwell groups and communities.

If you want to find out more about how we developed our website see our CHAINS - Good Practice Guide (find out more about how we developed our website).

Local groups wanting to promote themselves, their activities or events need to register first.

All we need are a few basic details from you - to help us ensure we keep CHAINS as a resource primarily about local people and groups.

Adding information onto the site is quick and easy - but if you aren't confident about doing this you can always send us your information and we will even upload it for you...find out more.
