Variety Equipment Grants for Youth Clubs (UK) – Deadline: Rolling
Variety, the Children’s Charity, has grants of £250 to £600 available to youth organisations that are affiliated to either Ambition, UK Youth or the National Association of Boys and Girls Clubs.
The grants can be used to buy equipment to provide challenging activities that engage young people aged 8-18 and provide them with alternatives to becoming involved in the anti-social behaviour that often stems from boredom and peer pressure.
On occasions, applications for improvement of youth club premises, refurbishment of existing equipment or facilities will also be considered.
Applicants have to raise some of the funds and applications that have young people involved in the fundraising will be looked up favourably.
