Open University (The) Competition for Research Ideas to Address Real-World Challenges (UK) - Deadline: 15th May 2024
The Open University (OU) has announced the launch of its Open Societal Challenges
Programme, Challenge Us! This new initiative seeks innovative research ideas that tackle real-world problems facing people across the UK and worldwide. The programme will focus on the themes of:
• Tackling inequalities,
• Living well,
• Sustainability. Applications will be accepted from OU students and recent graduates, UK charities, and businesses based in Milton Keynes. Grants of at least £25,000 will be awarded, will at least one winner selected per stream. The competition will open on 1st March 2024 and close on 15th May 2024
