The Rayne Foundation help and encourage inspiring individuals and organisations who can help build bridges within our complex world.
The Foundation aims to enlarge sympathies through increasing tolerance and understanding, to reduce exclusion and conflict, to bring people together for the good of society and ultimately to help create a more comprehending and cohesive world.
We will consider applications in the fields of the arts, health and wellbeing, education in its widest sense, and those that cover social issues.
Our focus is to connect communities, building bridges between marginalised groups and mainstream society, and to enable individuals to reach their full potential.
Within these broad criteria, we have a number of areas of special interest: • Young people’s improved mental health,
• Arts as a tool to achieve social change,
• Improved quality of life for carers and older people.
We particularly welcome applications addressing these issues but will consider applications in other subjects which meet our broader criteria. Rayne Grants is an open application programme, the only programme which accepts unsolicited applications.
They have a thorough and specific system in place for determining potential successful applicants.
